Apply Job no: A8T9E Every truckload starts with the right order. Behind every fresh delivery is someone who made sure the numbers were right, the suppliers were informed, and the warehouse had exactly what it needed. That's where you come in. As our Wholesale Support team member, you'll sit at the centre of our wholesale purchasing operation. You'll help coordinate daily produce orders, communicate purchasing instructions to growers and agents, process customer orders, and maintain accurate data across our internal systems. This is a part-time position. The shift starts at 5:30pm and finishes once the work is complete. Flexibility and reliability are essential, as finishing times vary with the volume of produce ordered each day. This isn't a sales role and it's not a warehouse picking role. It's an operational support position where organisation, attention to detail and clear communication make all the difference. If you enjoy working behind the scenes to keep things running smoothly, you'll thrive here. What You'll Do Support the Wholesale Manager with daily purchasing and order coordination Prepare and communicate accurate purchase instructions to produce agents Download and process customer orders into internal purchasing systems Maintain accurate purchasing records and product information Perform timely data entry to ensure system information remains current and reliable Identify discrepancies and resolve issues before they impact warehouse operations Communicate order updates and purchasing changes with internal stakeholders Respond promptly to supplier and warehouse enquiries Escalate supply issues or unusual purchasing trends when required Follow warehouse safety procedures and company compliance standards at all times About You We're looking for someone who enjoys working with detail, thrives in a fast-moving environment, and understands that small mistakes can have a big impact. You'll also bring: Previous experience in administration, purchasing, wholesale support or warehouse operations Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy Confidence using computer systems and data entry software Excellent written communication skills with the ability to write clear, concise emails Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing tasks A proactive approach to identifying and solving problems The ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team Experience within fresh produce, food distribution or wholesale operations is advantageous but not essential Availability to work evening shifts starting at 5:30pm. Why Harris Farm Harris Farm is a family-owned Australian fresh food retailer that's been doing things differently since 1971. Our wholesale operation is the engine room behind getting exceptional produce to our stores and customers every day. You'll join a supportive team where your accuracy, reliability and initiative genuinely matter. We invest in our people, celebrate great work, and provide opportunities to grow as our business continues to expand. Come as You Are, Grow as You Go - if you enjoy making things happen behind the scenes and want to be part of a business that values people as much as produce, we'd love to hear from you.
