Purpose of the EOI
We are seeking applications from RN3/AHP4/ASO8 staff interested in a temporary secondment to the role of Project Manager - Corporate Nursing.
Working closely with the Nursing Director - Strategic Planning and Delivery, this role has a primary focus on leading and coordinating key components of the PolyOptimum Optimisation Program, including ProAct, ProAct Lite, and BOSS. In addition, the role may contribute to the delivery of interrelated corporate nursing projects that align with and support the broader objectives of the PolyOptimum Optimisation Program.
This role offers the opportunity to demonstrate leadership in the delivery of complex, organisation-wide initiatives, exercising a high level of professional judgement, autonomy, and decision-making. Key aspects of the role include project planning and delivery, governance, stakeholder engagement, and change management, alongside supporting data collection, analysis, reporting, and benefits realisation.
The appointed candidate will work collaboratively across clinical divisions and with internal and external stakeholders to drive engagement, implementation, and adoption of systems and improvements across SALHN.
The role will involve:
- Leading the coordination and day-to-day delivery of key components of the PolyOptimum Optimisation Program, including ProAct systems, BOSS, and analytics, under the direction of the Nursing Director
- Providing project management oversight, including planning, scheduling, governance, and reporting
- Leading stakeholder engagement, collaboration, and multidisciplinary partnership across SALHN
- Supporting and contributing to change management, service redesign, and system adoption efforts
- Monitoring project performance, risks, and benefits realisation to ensure outcomes are achieved
- Contributing to high-quality, evidence-based systems and continuous improvement initiatives

- Proven ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines
- Experience leading change management and quality improvement initiatives
- Ability to analyse data and translate insights into meaningful reporting and outcomes
- Commitment to enhancing organisational systems, project outcomes, and sustainable service improvements
