Are you a Development Manager with land subdivision experience? This is an opportunity to join a long establised National Developer. This role is to look after two major projects in the Ipswich Corridor. One is at the civil stage and the other is in planning.

This is an autonomous role, you will need to stand by your commercial decisions and look at creative ways to increase yields to satisfy profit outcomes. It's not an environment with endless corporate meetings, it's a pure development role - develop, - make a profit - while improving the local environment and providing great living spaces. We are looking for a Development Manager that has experience with local councils and has a great network of consultants and enjoys being part of a close-knit team of development professionals.

Requirements for the role include:

  • Qualifications in Civil Engineering / Property Economics or similar
  • 5+ years of experience as a Development Manager
  • Previous experience working on masterplanned communities or subdivisions larger than 100 lots.
  • Existing networks of Consultants in SEQ
  • The desire to take ownership of projects.

You will need experience with:

  • Financial and project reporting including cash flows and budgets.
  • Feasibilities and contract negotiation
  • Experience obtaining DAs within SEQ council areas.
  • Running consultant meetings with successful outcomes
  • Marketing and sales of Projects, including the appointment of agents, contracts and marketing strategies where appropriate
  • Residential land projects that have gone through the full development cycle.

This role will be based on site a couple of days per week, with some travel to head office and the rest of the time working from home. It will suit someone from Brisbane West or Ipswich.
