Lead Process Operator Maintainer

Apply Job no: J9MYC The Role Cockburn Cement is seeking a safety-focused Lead Operator Maintainer to join our Kemerton Operations team. Reporting to the Kemerton Supervisor, this role supports the safe, efficient and reliable operation of the Hydration and Milk of Lime Plant. You will combine hands-on plant operations, mechanical maintenance and technical leadership to support production, plant reliability and customer delivery requirements. This Monday to Friday role also includes maintenance planning, contractor coordination, supervisor leave coverage, participation in an on-call roster and occasional shift coverage when required. Responsibilities Operate, monitor and optimise the Hydration and Milk of Lime Plant. Support preventative, corrective and shutdown maintenance activities. Conduct inspections, fault finding, troubleshooting and mechanical repairs. Coordinate contractors, permits, consumables and critical spare parts. Conduct product sampling, testing and operational record keeping. Load and dispatch Hydrated Lime and Milk of Lime products. Provide technical leadership and support to Process Operator Maintainers. Drive improvements across safety, reliability, quality and plant performance. About You To be successful, you will bring: Experience in industrial manufacturing, mining, processing or heavy industry. Strong mechanical aptitude and fixed plant maintenance experience. Ability to troubleshoot equipment and support reliable plant operations. Experience coordinating maintenance activities or contractor-managed work. Strong commitment to safety, teamwork and continuous improvement. Ability to lead by example and support others in a hands-on environment. Preferred Tickets Forklift Licence. Elevated Work Platform High Risk Licence. Confined Space Entry. Working at Heights.
