About the role

Based in North Sydney office, this full-time position sits within our Engineering team and reports to the Principal Transmission Line Engineer. You will play a key role in delivering transmission line design work supporting both tenders and active projects.
The role focuses on detailed engineering design, modelling and technical delivery across transmission and distribution systems. You will contribute to high-quality, compliant design outputs while collaborating closely with internal teams, suppliers and project stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver transmission line design work including modelling and detailed engineering outputs
  • Develop PLS-CADD models and support PLS Tower and PLS Pole design activities
  • Produce line design reports, stringing charts, plan and profile drawings
  • Perform engineering calculations and develop technical specifications and documentation
  • Conduct constructability assessments and ensure compliance with engineering standards
  • Liaise with geotechnical engineers, suppliers and other external stakeholders
  • Provide technical support across tendering, construction and project delivery phases

About you

  • Degree-qualified engineer with qualifications recognised by Engineers Australia
  • Minimum 5 years' post-graduate experience in the transmission line industry
  • Strong experience in transmission line design and engineering delivery
  • Proficiency in PLS-CADD, PLS Tower and PLS Pole
  • Solid understanding of tower and foundation design principles
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently and meet deadlines
