Key Responsibilities

This is a rare opportunity for a Full Time Chef de Cuisine to bring their passion for Cantonise cuisine and a high level of culinary skill to our Kitchen team.

In this role you will be leading a fast-paced kitchen, bringing authentic flavours, modern techniques and creative flair to a diverse and vibrant fine dining environment, creating memorable moments and cuisine for our guests.

Currently T'ang Court operates Thursday to Monday and offers evening service only, so this opportunity provides work life balance for the right candidate.

Qualifications & Skills

To be successful in the role you will have been in the same or similar position/s within a luxury hotel or venue, with proven experience of leading a kitchen to deliver exceptional food standards.

  • Proven experience leading a kitchen brigade, ideally within the Asian cuisine;
  • A deep understanding of Cantonise cooking techniques and Asian cuisine;
  • Passion for culinary excellence;
  • High level of Food Safety Management and HACCAP knowledge;
  • Luxury Hotel or Restaurant experience is highly desirable;
  • Ability to work under pressure with strong problem-solving skills;
  • Commercial Cookery Qualifications;
  • Availability to work evenings, a rotating roster, and public holidays.
