What does the job look like?
As the PM Shift Supervisor, you will take ownership of the evening operation, leading the site independently to ensure picking is completed for next-day deliveries while coordinating import and export container activity. You will supervise a small team, drive safety and performance standards, and manage all reporting, administration and shift handovers. With a strong focus on efficiency and service, you will monitor labour and KPIs, manage site risks, and ensure the operation is effectively closed out and prepared for the following day. This will be a permanent afternoon shift (1pm start) and is based at our Heathwood site. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the PM shift, taking ownership of site operations through to close
- Oversee outbound picking and container activity to ensure next-day delivery requirements are met
- Supervise and support a small team of forklift operators, driving safety and performance standards
- Manage all reporting, administration and shift handovers to maintain operational continuity
- Monitor labour performance, site productivity and KPIs to drive efficiency
- Maintain strong stakeholder communication and proactively manage site risks to ensure a safe, compliant operation
Are you the one?
You are a confident and capable operator who can manage a site independently and lead from the front, with proven experience supervising teams, driving performance and maintaining strong safety and operational standards in a fast-paced warehouse environment. To be successful, you will demonstrate:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution leadership role (3+ years preferred)
- Proven ability to supervise and support operational teams
- Strong understanding of warehouse processes and systems (SAP preferred)
- Ability to work autonomously and make sound decisions under pressure
- Strong administrative and reporting capability
- High attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong communication skills with a customer-focused mindset
