Pinaka Technology Solutions has been shortlisted as a vendor to provide specialist Human Centred Design (HCD) capability to a major Australian Federal Government department.
We are currently seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced Human Centred Design professionals who would like to be considered for future contract opportunities as they become available.
Please note: This is not an active job vacancy or current RFQ. We are building a curated talent pool (hot list) of suitably qualified professionals so that we can respond quickly when new opportunities arise.
Opportunities may arise across the following specialist roles

These opportunities support large-scale digital transformation and service reform initiatives across the Australian Government. Engagements may involve:
- Human Centred Design strategy and advisory
- User research and insights
- Service design and journey mapping
- UX and interaction design
- Wireframing and prototyping
- Workshop facilitation and co-design
- Design systems and accessibility
- Digital Experience Policy and Digital Service Standards
- Cross-functional collaboration with policy, digital and delivery teams
- Supporting major government transformation programs
Projects require professionals who can operate confidently in complex and evolving environments while delivering high-quality outcomes aligned with government standards and Human Centred Design best practice.
We're particularly interested in professionals with experience in:
- Human Centred Design (HCD)
- Service Design
- User Research
- UX/UI Design
- Interaction Design
- Design Systems
- Accessibility (WCAG)
- Figma and modern design tools
- Agile delivery
- Australian Government Digital Service Standard
- Australian Government Digital Experience Policy
- Health, disability or aged care domains
- Australian Federal or State Government projects (highly regarded)
Experience Levels
We welcome expressions of interest from consultants across a range of experience levels, including professionals aligned to DTA Levels 2 through 5. Senior candidates with leadership, mentoring and strategic advisory experience are particularly encouraged to apply.
