Your Team
The Digital Product Owner (Adviser) role sits within our Digital & Customer Experience team alongside other Product Owners, UX/UI Designers and content copy writers.
You will develop and execute our digital strategy and product roadmap for our adviser web portal, Firstnet Adviser. Working closely with Product, Technology, Operations, and Distribution stakeholders, you will be accountable for leveraging adviser insights and research to help shape and prioritise the product backlog to ensure we deliver innovative digital solutions for our advisers.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of the product roadmap for advisers ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct market research and user testing to inform product decisions and ensure a seamless user experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Distribution, IT, cyber security, and UX/UI designers to define and prioritise project requirements.
- Ensure timely delivery of key milestones by working alongside IT delivery and project managers.
- Ensure you deliver a seamless user experience that helps drive efficiency for advisers and support staff
- Communicate and present regular updates on project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders including executive leadership team.
- Ensure the project adheres to best practices in security and compliance.
Your Capability and Experience
- Deep understanding of financial adviser workflows
- Solid experience as a Digital Product Owner or similar role such as a Product Development Manager
- Experience in the superannuation or wealth management industry is essential
- Strong understanding of digital platforms, AI, and emerging technologies
- Proven ability to define and deliver product roadmaps aligned to customer and business outcomes
- Experience working in Agile environments with end-to-end responsibility for backlog and delivery
- Strong problem-solving skills, using data and insights to inform decisions and prioritisation
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including engagement with senior stakeholders
- Track record of delivering adviser related digital experiences that improve usability and efficiency
