As a Lead Field Service Technician, you will provide on-site technical support and assist the team in delivering work across customer sites. Ensure high-quality service, minimise downtime, and maintain strong customer satisfaction while supporting workload coordination, system improvements, and effective collaboration with technicians, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service and maintenance of Honeywell and third-party equipment (as per trade expertise)
  • Configuration, Diagnoses Fault, repairs and Programming of building services (e.g. CCTV, Type 1A, Access control and Third-Party Systems).
  • Software load and Configuration of Honeywell Systems and other systems as required.
  • Minor Project management of service projects and small works including high level of management of customer and ensuring project milestones are achieved.
  • Technical consulting, design and implementation of Honeywell Systems leveraging off your Honeywell and Industry product knowledge to the service business and customers (existing and new). This includes pre-sales support to the account team and technical lead on implementation projects
  • Contract Retention and New client contact
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction through direct liaison with client representatives, customers and service recipients, Customer surveys and NPS targets.
  • Site audits.
  • Ensure Playbook activities are completed for the team each month.
  • HSE assessments are carried out and updated annually for all contracts and projects.
  • HSE Safety Plans are available at all sites as required.

Key Experience & Capabilities:

  • Intermediate to High computer skills
  • Supervisor Trade Certificate an advantage
  • Electrical Associate Diploma or higher an advantage
  • Able to hold/Maintain Government security clearance if required
  • Must have a full Australian Drivers Licence
  • Fault finding and repairs to electronic equipment
  • Gallagher experience preferred
  • At least four years' experience with Honeywell/Non-Honeywell security systems and products across systems.
  • Strong experience in building (Security) Systems including trouble shooting, fault finding and problem diagnosis.
  • Security license
