About the role

Join our Oral Health team as a Dental Assistant and play an important role in delivering high-quality dental care to the Greater Manning community. Working across our Taree and Forster clinics, you'll provide both chairside and administrative support to Oral Health clinicians, helping ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the service and a positive experience for every patient.

This varied role includes assisting with a wide range of dental procedures, preparing treatment rooms and equipment, maintaining infection prevention and control standards, and completing administrative tasks that support the efficient delivery of care. Working within established policies and procedures, you'll contribute to a safe, organised and patient-focused clinical environment.

This part-time opportunity offers the chance to work across both our Taree and Forster Dental Clinics as part of a skilled and supportive multidisciplinary team. You'll collaborate with experienced Oral Health professionals who are committed to providing accessible, high-quality dental services to the Greater Manning community while fostering a positive and inclusive workplace.

About you

You are a reliable and enthusiastic Dental Assistant who takes pride in providing excellent patient care and supporting a busy clinical team. You enjoy working in a collaborative environment and are committed to maintaining high standards of safety, quality and professionalism.

You'll bring strong chairside assisting skills, a thorough understanding of infection prevention and control practices, and the ability to manage both clinical and administrative responsibilities with confidence. With excellent communication skills, you build positive relationships with patients and colleagues alike, while maintaining patient confidentiality and using dental software and computer systems effectively to support daily operations.

Requirements:

  • Current Dental Assistant Certificate recognised by the Dental Assistant Education Council of Australia up to the level of Certificate 3 and or unqualified but experienced dental assistant. Please ensure you upload a copy of your Certificate
