Where you'll be working:

The Physiotherapy team at Kurri Kurri Rehabilitation Unit is seeking a motivated and team-focused Physiotherapist who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient-centred care. This temporary part-time position, available until 9 November 2026, offers the opportunity to work with a diverse and rewarding inpatient caseload across neurological, orthopaedic, and geriatric rehabilitation. Join a supportive multidisciplinary team dedicated to helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals and maximise their independence.

About you

We are seeking a motivated Physiotherapist who is committed to evidence-based practice, continuous learning, and delivering excellent patient outcomes. You will be an effective communicator, able to manage competing priorities, and thrive in a collaborative multidisciplinary rehabilitation environment.

This role offers the opportunity to:

  • Contribute to a well-established inpatient rehabilitation service delivering high-quality care to the Lower Hunter community.
  • Develop your clinical skills with ongoing support and mentorship from senior Physiotherapists.

You will receive comprehensive orientation, regular clinical support from two Senior Physiotherapists, and access to ongoing professional development through journal clubs, reflective practice sessions, multidisciplinary education, and Physiotherapy in-services.

Requirements

  • Physiotherapist with current Authority to Practice with AHPRA

  • To be eligible for employment in this position you must be an Australian Citizen, or permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport, or hold an appropriate visa that allows you to live and work in Australia.
