What's the role?
As a Senior Manager, Business Controls & Monitoring (BCM), you'll provide highquality first line risk advice and support to the Customer Operations Centre of Excellence (CoE), with a strong focus on digital, technology, and transformation initiatives.
This is a handson Risk in Change role, supporting major programs such as UNITE, where you'll partner closely with business and technology teams to ensure risks are identified, assessed, and managed effectively throughout the delivery lifecycle.
You'll play a key role in upfront design, business case development, governance, and golive decisions, helping the business deliver change safely and in line with regulatory expectations.
You'll also support the uplift of technology risk practices, drive improvements in controls and automation, and provide clear, actionable insights to senior stakeholders to support informed, riskaware decisionmaking.
This is a permanent, fulltime role based in Sydney with hybrid working arrangement.
What do I need?
- 5 - 7 years experience in risk, compliance, or BCM, ideally within financial services with technical experience in technology risk, project risk, or Risk in Change environments
- Proven ability to partner with business and technology teams across digital or transformation initiatives
- Exposure to largescale transformation programs or complex change delivery environments
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing capability, with the ability to translate risk into practical outcomes
- Analytical and problemsolving skills, with a structured approach to risk assessment, controls, and governance
- Exposure to automation, artificial intelligence, data tools (e.g. Power Platform, Alteryx) or project management tools (eg. JIRA, Confluence) is desirable.
