We’re currently seeking a Bid Manager to join our Workers Compensation division in Melbourne. This is a newly created role, responsible for leading VIC-focused bid and tender activity, ensuring high-quality, compelling submissions that position GB for continued growth.

Reporting into the leadership team, this role will take ownership of end-to-end bid and tender management across Victoria. You’ll coordinate inputs from subject matter experts (SMEs), shape strong written submissions, and ensure all tenders are delivered on time and to a high standard.

This role will be primarily focused on bids and tenders. However, during quieter periods, you will also provide broader administrative and coordination support to the team.


How you'll make an impact

  • Manage end-to-end bid and tender activity for the VIC Workers Compensation portfolio
  • Write, edit and review high-quality, client-focused submissions
  • Coordinate input from internal SMEs and stakeholders across the business
  • Ensure all bids are accurate, compliant, and submitted within tight deadlines
  • Manage multiple tenders simultaneously, working effectively under pressure
  • Maintain bid documentation, templates and content libraries
  • Provide general administrative and coordination support as required

You’re an organised and proactive professional with a strong background in bids, tenders, or proposal management. You thrive in fast-paced environments and are confident working with a range of stakeholders.

You will bring:

  • Proven experience in bid or tender management (essential)
  • Knowledge, understanding and experience working withing the Workers Compensation insurance industry will be ideal
  • Exceptional written communication and editing skills
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and coordination capability
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • High attention to detail and quality
  • A flexible, team-oriented approach with willingness to support beyond core responsibilities
