Apply Job no: TFHC3 Product Specialist - Mine Planning Job Summary The Product Specialist is responsible to providing high quality post sales customer success including software implementations, client training and technical support. The Opportunity This role is part of Spry, one of the specialist businesses within Weir Software Solutions. This role focuses on delivering customer success through software implementation, support, and training. It involves troubleshooting issues, validating bugs, and collaborating with product teams to improve solutions. The position also supports technical sales through demonstrations and proposals, while identifying growth opportunities within existing accounts. Additionally, it contributes to product development, internal training, and customer engagement, ensuring users maximise value from the software. The Impact you'll have Support customers during software implementation, ensuring optimal use and resolving technical issues Deliver training to clients and internal staff to build product knowledge and capability Identify, test, and report software bugs, collaborating with product teams on solutions and improvements Assist technical sales through demonstrations, proposals, and identifying upselling opportunities within accounts Contribute to product development by gathering user feedback, defining requirements, and participating in testing What you need to succeed Strong customer focus and communication skills to build relationships and ensure client success Solid technical problem-solving ability to troubleshoot issues and verify software bugs Confidence in delivering training and explaining complex concepts to diverse audiences Commercial awareness to support sales activities and identify upselling opportunities Organisation and attention to detail for managing support cases, CRM updates, and multiple priorities Demonstrated experience (or strong capability) in analysing, designing, implementing, or supporting technical systems, ideally within mining, engineering, or other complex operational environments A tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as engineering, earth sciences, information technology, computer science, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience) Understanding of, or the ability to quickly learn, mine planning processes and deliver effective planning solutions Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders What you can expect from us Competitive remuneration Hybrid working model Health and wellbeing support, including EAP and gym membership Career development within a growing global organisation 12 weeks paid parental leave (primary and secondary carers) Apply Now Ready to apply your mining experience in a global tech environment?
