P&C Business Partner

We are seeking ahighly experienced People & Culture Business Partner, who has a keeninterest in working in the not for profit, health, research or community sectorto join our team. Reporting to the Manager, People Operations & Experience,this role sits within a high-performing P&C function and partners closelywith senior leaders across the Institute.
In this role, youwill have an active role supporting our people and leaders with end-to-endpeople solutions, driving the delivery and continuous improvement of core processesacross the employment lifecycle. This includes strategic workforce planning,remuneration and benchmarking, organisational change, and working on impactfulpeople initiatives. You will lead and manage sensitive and complex peoplematters, ensuring fair, compliant, and timely resolutions aligned with bothlegislative requirements and our Institute values of Respect, Collaboration,Courage and Evidence.
As a trustedadvisor, you will work in close partnership with our people, senior leadershipand key stakeholders to provide expert advice on a broad range of peoplematters. You will play a key role in influencing and building capability withinthe leadership cohort, enabling them to effectively lead their teams andachieve both operational and people outcomes. In addition, you will contributeto the uplift of the broader P&C function, sharing expertise, supportingteam development, and leading initiatives that enhance our people's experienceand foster a high-performance, values-driven culture.
This role is full-time, fixed term for 12months.
AboutYou
You will be a qualified and experienced HRprofessional who thrives under pressure whilst handling competing priorities.
The key to your success will be your demonstratedexperience in the following:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to influence key stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience with FW Act, NES, and up to date knowledge with other related legislation.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to effectively negotiate and prioritise stakeholder requests.
- Experience as a Human Resources Professional within a medium to large organisation providing accurate, thoughtful and timely advice on all HR related matters with a minimum of 10 years' experience.
The successful candidate will be asked to provide a satisfactoryNational Background Check and Proof of working rights in Australia prior tocommencement.
