Our NSW Water Group continues to experience strong growth, creating an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Process Engineer - Water Treatment to join our Sydney team. This role provides a key technical leadership presence within our process engineering capability, contributing to the successful delivery of highquality water and wastewater treatment solutions across New South Wales. With time this role extends to management type functions and leadership capabilities.

A day in the life of a Senior Process Engineer - Water Treatment includes:

Project coordination - Plan, program and coordinate project activities with the Project Manager to ensure delivery on time, on budget and to the required quality standards.

Technical leadership - Lead and support process and technical engineering activities across planning, feasibility, concept design and detailed design for water and wastewater infrastructure.

Client engagement - Prepare components of engineering proposals and maintain strong client relationships through proactive, clear and timely communication.

Crossdiscipline collaboration - Coordinate technical inputs and design activities with colleagues across other disciplines and business units.

Quality and safety assurance - Ensure all technical outputs align with project scope, meet safety requirements and reflect high standards of engineering quality.

Business and capability development - Contribute to the growth of our water and wastewater design capability, including supporting new and existing client relationships.

Mentoring and team development - Provide guidance, mentoring and technical support to team members, helping to build capability across Graduate and Intermediate engineers.

Bid and proposal support - Support business development activities by contributing to proposal preparation and bid development as required.

To be successful for this role you'll present:

Relevant engineering qualifications - Tertiary qualifications in Chemical, Process, environmental or a related engineering discipline, with minimum of 4 years' experience.

Professional accreditation - Chartered Engineer status (or clear progress toward achieving it).

Water treatment expertise - Demonstrated experience and technical and design capability in water treatment process engineering.

Consultancy design experience - Proven background delivering design solutions within an engineering consultancy environment.

Asset and delivery knowledge - Strong understanding of water and wastewater assets, treatment processes and the broader delivery environment.

Leadership capability - Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage subcontractors to achieve highquality project outcomes.

Advanced problemsolving - Highly developed problemsolving and negotiation skills, with the ability to navigate and resolve technical or commercial challenges.

Technical communication - Strong reportwriting skills with the ability to translate complex technical information into clear, compelling narratives.
