Above award wages Full-Time Apprenticeship - Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade (MEM30219) Work in a brandnew, purposebuilt workshop Exposure to modern CNC lathes and/or mills Be part of a national organisation with longterm career opportunities Structured mentoring and support through to trade completion What you'll be doing: Assisting with setup, programming, and operation of CNC lathes and/or milling machines Manufacturing highprecision components Performing routine machine maintenance and basic faultfinding Overhauling gearboxes, conveyors, pumps and driveshafts Dismantling, cleaning, measuring, and assessing parts Supporting small machining jobs and general workshop activities Workshop upkeep and occasional local deliveries What we're looking for: This role is ideal for a current Year 12 student ready to start an Apprenticeship in January 2027. If you are looking to get a head start, you also have the flexibility to begin working immediately as a Trade Assistant. Previous work experieence or exposure to CNC machining (lathes and/or mills) Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Reliable, punctual, and safetyfocused Sound computer literacy Australian citizen or permanent resident Training & Support: You'll be employed by MRAEL and supported by a dedicated Apprentice & Employment Consultant, providing: Ongoing mentoring and performance support Coordination of all offthejob training Regular checkins to support your progress through to completion Ready to apply?
