Are you a passionate and dedicated Registered Midwife looking to provide exceptional care to women and their families throughout their pregnancy journey? Nepean Hospital is seeking Registered Midwives to join our dynamic Antenatal Ward team.
As part of one of New South Wales' leading maternity services, you will work within a supportive multidisciplinary environment committed to delivering safe, high-quality, woman-centred care.
As a Registered Midwife in the Antenatal Ward, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care for women experiencing a range of antenatal conditions and pregnancy-related complications. You will collaborate closely with Obstetricians, Midwives, Nurses, Allied Health professionals and support staff to ensure positive outcomes for women, babies and their families.
You will be a compassionate Registered Midwife who is committed to providing outstanding care and fostering positive patient experiences, have the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and have a commitment to woman-centred care and shared decision-making.
Note: "a minimum of 12 months experience post-midwifery registration is required"

What you will bring to the role
- Current registration as a Registered Midwife Division 1 with AHPRA.
- Demonstrated experience and clinical skills in Midwifery.
- Demonstrated capacity to provide effective nursing/midwifery care that is person centred, family inclusive and culturally sensitive to people accessing health services.
- Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work.
- Demonstrated effective communication written and verbal skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development.
- Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Ability to work a flexible roster, day evening or night shift across all days of the week according to the unit or team requirements.
