What you'll be doing
This role provides executive level administrative support to the Kolling Academic Director and Chief Operating Officer, while also acting as secretariat for a range of high level Kolling related Committees. The position holder plays a pivotal role in the sharing of sensitive and complex information between the Kolling Joint Venture Partners, Northern Sydney Local Health District (NSLHD) and the University of Sydney (USYD) and is the first point of contact for external stakeholders including regulatory bodies, government, industry and community.
The position holder is required to apply judgement and variously solve problems or escalate sensitive or risky matters to the Academic Director and/or COO as required. The ability to form strong professional relationships across Organisations is essential in order to facilitate timely and efficient completion of tasks.
The position plays a key role in managing communications within and outside the Kolling, including the management and tracking of sensitive data and information, as well as managing key events.
The incumbent must be able to establish strong working relationships with staff at all levels of the organisation, in particular with members of the Kolling Executive, NSLHD Senior Executive, USYD Senior Executive, executive support staff, managers, clinicians, researchers, students, external partners, industry, donors and community, as well as NSW Ministry of Health personnel; at all times maintaining a professional, courteous and positive manner, working towards the vision and plans of the Kolling and in accordance with the NSW Health and University of Sydney Codes of Conduct and other organisational policies and procedures.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Demonstrated experience in providing high level executive administrative support to senior management including a proven capacity to operate effectively in a complex environment demanding confidentiality, flexibility and discernment
- Exceptional interpersonal skills including sound oral and written communication ability with a wide range of personnel from all levels of the organisation

Proven high level organisational skills including the ability to problem-solve, prioritise workload and meet deadlines supported by a demonstrated capacity to exercise initiative, tact and judgment.
