Production Operator - Weekend Shift

We are looking for Production Operators (Packaging / Process) to join our team in Regency Park, with The Smith's Snackfood Company.

These are permanent, part-time positions with 2 shift options available - Weekend Day shift and Weekend Night shift. You can choose the shift that best suits you.

Details

• Location: Regency Park
• Weekend Day Shift: Saturday & Sunday 6am-6pm
• Weekend Night Shift: Friday & Saturday 6pm-6am, Sunday 6pm - midnight
• Training: Initial training conducted on weekdays (Monday to Friday) for approx. 6 months
• Position: Permanent Part Time

Responsibilities

• Operating heavy machinery equipment, maintaining a continuous flow of product (Packaging Machine Operator)
• Ensuring flavour testing is completed effectively and an accurate flavour is supplied in accordance with the product run (Process Operator)
• Managing production lines, equipment calibration and monitoring
• Preparing and completing accurate records
• Cleaning and housekeeping
• Committed to quality assurance and completion of quality checks as required

Qualifications

• Experienced in a Manufacturing or Production Environment
• Good Mechanical Aptitude
• An understanding of HACCPand GMP with strong attention to detail, safety and reliability
• Able to work autonomously
