About the role

We have an opportunity for a Manager Business Intelligence to be part of our Chief Data Office, Technology & Communication Services Command. The Manager Business Intelligence is responsible for leading a team in the development of business intelligence products and services, to inform operational policing, corporate strategies and business decisions. Extracting business insights from vast and diverse data to transform valuable business information, driving the success of NSWPF and uplift skills in the use of Business Intelligence tools.

This role provides a unique opportunity for you to use your strong people and technical leadership skills to lead a large business intelligence and training and outreach team.

The team is one of five teams in the Chief Data Office, focused on maximising the value of NSWPF's data assets to drive business decisions and innovation.

As the Manager Business Intelligence, you will focus on developing consumable insights and business intelligence (reports, summaries, products, services, and capabilities), to enable data driven decision making at an operational, tactical, and strategic level. Experience with python, SQL, Power BI, large language models, automated search and retrieval tools, and contemporary data analytics and insights tools is essential. Extensive experience leading teams of data professionals is also essential.
