What You'll Be Doing
You'll play a key role in delivering business intelligence solutions by:
- Building and maintaining interactive Power BI dashboards and reports
- Developing advanced DAX measures and calculations
- Transforming and modelling data using Power Query (M Query)
- Writing and optimising complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and database objects
- Improving query performance and ensuring efficient reporting
- Using Python to automate reporting, analyse datasets, and streamline processes
- Working closely with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver practical solutions
- Ensuring data quality, integrity, and consistency across reporting platforms
What You'll Bring

Essential Skills
✔ Strong commercial experience with Power BI
✔ Advanced DAX development skills
✔ Strong experience using Power Query (M Query)
✔ Advanced SQL skills, including:
Complex queries
Stored Procedures
Views
Performance optimisation
✔ Proficiency in Python for:
Data analysis
Automation
Reporting
✔ Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
Bonus Points If You Have
Experience with Azure
Data Warehousing or ETL experience
Exposure to the Insurance or Financial Services industry
