We're partnering with a well-known Australian organisation to find a Customer Insights & Data Analyst who is passionate about transforming customer data into meaningful insights that influence business strategy and improve customer experiences.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys combining analytics, visualisation, and stakeholder engagement to help shape customer-focused decisions across a large enterprise.


What You'll Be Doing

You'll work across a broad range of customer insight initiatives, helping the business better understand customer behaviour and make informed decisions by:

  • Designing and developing engaging dashboards and reports using Power BI and/or Tableau
  • Analysing customer data from multiple sources to identify trends, behaviours, opportunities and emerging patterns
  • Translating complex data into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Supporting customer experience initiatives through reporting and analytics
  • Partnering with business stakeholders to understand objectives and deliver insight-led reporting solutions
  • Writing and optimising SQL queries to extract, transform and analyse large datasets
  • Working with modern data platforms and data warehouses, including Snowflake
  • Applying analytical techniques such as customer segmentation, trend analysis and predictive modelling
  • Contributing to continuous improvements in reporting, data quality and analytical processes
  • Supporting governance, integrity and best practice across customer data and reporting

We're looking for someone who enjoys solving business problems with data and can confidently communicate insights that influence decision-making.


Essential Skills

✔ Commercial experience delivering customer or business insights through data

✔ Strong experience building dashboards using Power BI and/or Tableau

✔ Advanced SQL skills for data extraction, transformation and analysis

✔ Experience working with cloud-based data warehouses such as Snowflake

✔ Strong analytical capability with experience in customer segmentation, trend analysis or statistical modelling

✔ Ability to present insights in a clear and engaging way for business stakeholders

✔ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills


Highly Regarded
  • Experience working with customer feedback
  • Exposure to predictive analytics or machine learning techniques
  • Experience within large enterprise or customer-centric environments
  • Knowledge of data governance and reporting best practices
