Within this role, you will primarily support Outback Spirit, our premium touring business showcasing some of Australia's most remote and spectacular destinations, and Grand Pacific Tours, New Zealand's leading coach touring operator.

About the Role
We are looking for a capable and confident HR Business Partner to join our team.

This is a hands-on role where no two days look the same. You'll partner with leaders across your portfolio to provide practical advice, navigate employee and industrial relations matters, support organisational change and build leadership capability.

You'll play a key role in helping leaders make informed workforce decisions, balancing operational needs with great people outcomes.

What You'll be Doing:

  • Partnering with leaders to provide trusted advice and strategic support across the employee lifecycle.
  • Leading end-to-end case management across performance, conduct, and complex employee matters.
  • Providing guidance on employee and industrial relations matters.
  • Coaching leaders to build capability, confidence and accountability.
  • Supporting workforce planning activities, helping leaders align talent, capability and resourcing with business needs.
  • Using people insights and workforce data to support decision-making and improve people outcomes.
  • Supporting recruitment, talent and succession planning initiatives.
  • Contributing to people projects and initiatives that enhance engagement, culture and business performance

About You
You're a commercially minded HR professional who enjoys partnering with leaders to solve people challenges and deliver practical outcomes.

With strong Employee and Industrial Relations capability, you're comfortable working autonomously, building trusted relationships and supporting leaders through both day-to-day people matters and more complex workforce challenges. You understand how people decisions impact business performance and can confidently partner with leaders on workforce planning, capability and organisational change.

You will bring:

  • Around 5 years' progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years' operating as a Senior HR Advisor or HR Business Partner.
  • Strong ER experience, including performance management, investigations and workplace conflict resolution.
  • The ability to build credibility quickly and develop strong relationships with leaders.
  • Confidence coaching and mentoring leaders through a range of people matters.
  • A practical, solutions-focused approach and the ability to balance people and business outcomes.

Most importantly, you're someone who enjoys being close to the business, partnering with leaders to solve problems and providing clear, confident advice when it matters most.
