Sales Associate, Fixed Term Contract, Sydney Trust
The Opportunity
This position will be a temporary, fixed term 6-month position supporting our Hermes Sydney Trust Flagship Boutique.
The Hermes Sydney Trust Boutique focuses on providing extraordinary service to all clients. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dedicated team as a Sales Associate within the Hermes Maison and work collaboratively to support the client experience in a fast-paced, luxury environment.
Key Responsibilities
Client Experience:
- Strives to provides exceptional client experience in line with the Sales & Service Ambassador guidelines and benchmarks to every client in Hermes
- Practices the Orange Box Ceremony and Hand Rituals
- Clientele with current and potential clients to establish and maintain client relationships
- Handle complex client experience concerns and issues, i.e. dissatisfied customers, exchanges, returns, after-sales according to the Store Notebook
- Offer exceptional aftersales experience to all clients with assessment of repairs and accurate completion of relevant forms
- Capture accurate and relevant information through POS and CRM systems
- Communicates feedback gathered through in-store activities to store management
- Utilise professional and elegant dialogue with clients and team members
- Being a proactive Ambassador for assigned metier
- Meticulous visual merchandising and housekeeping of retail floor areas
- Clean, tidy and logical BOH stock areas - ensure stock is easy to find
- Understanding and sharing of metier performance
- Accurate mini count/ stock take results
- Sharing of key information about the metier
- Training and sharing on new product launches, particularly for new joiners
- Sharing and being an expert on care and aftersales
- Demonstrate and encourage team to master the Metier Hand Rituals
- Positive teamwork and provides support or their Ambassadorship

Personal Presentation and Teamwork:
- Adheres to all the Hermes Australia Personal Etiquette and representations guidelines with elegance
- Positively contributes to the Hermes workplace through proactive teamwork
- Be an effective and supportive team player to the whole team
Daily Operations:
- Daily housekeeping duties
- Assist in stock duties including unpacking, validating and distributing stock deliveries
- Apply visual merchandising guidelines
- Participate in cycle counts and stock takes
- Adhere and abides by all policies set out by Hermes Australia and Hermes International
