Development Kitchen Specialist

About the Role

The Development Kitchen Specialist supports the developmentof Breville's cooking and food preparation products by bringing strong foodknowledge, hands-on testing capability, and evidence-based recommendations intothe product development process.

This role is responsible for evaluating product performancestructured testing, data collection, benchmarking, and product development,then translating findings into clear, actionable feedback for cross-functionalteams. Working closely with Engineering, Design, and regional DevelopmentKitchen team members, the Specialist helps improve food outcomes, validateproduct performance, and support products that meet consumer needs and intendedclaims.

This role is hands-on in the kitchen, but it is ultimatelyproduct-development focused, working with Designs and Engineers. It plays animportant part in shaping performance feedback, supporting product decisions,and embedding food thinking throughout development.
