Burger Urge Operations Training Manager Burger Urge (BU) kicked off 18 years ago with a mission to reclaim the burger! As we continue to grow across Australia, we're looking for an Operations Training Manager to play a pivotal role in developing our people, strengthening operational excellence and supporting the success of our franchise and corporate network. About the Role Reporting to the Head of Operations, you'll be responsible for delivering engaging, hands-on training across our corporate and franchise network. This isn't a desk-based training role. You'll spend time in venues, coaching leaders, facilitating workshops, supporting new store openings and helping teams build the capability needed to deliver exceptional guest experiences. You'll work closely with Operations, Learning & Development and Franchise Partners to ensure training programs translate into real operational performance. What You'll Be Doing Training & Capability Deliver national training programs across corporate and franchise venues. Facilitate engaging classroom workshops and in-venue coaching. Manage the national training calendar. Conduct operational training audits and capability assessments. Support menu launches, operational initiatives and system rollouts. Identify emerging leaders and contribute to succession planning. Collaborate with Learning & Development to continuously improve training resources. Franchise Partner Support Coach new Franchise Partners through onboarding, opening and early trading. Deliver tailored coaching based on operational performance and capability gaps. Support change of ownership transitions and venue turnarounds. Ensure completion of required training and compliance programs. Burger Urge Premier League Facilitate our network-wide performance and engagement program. Coordinate league cycles, communications and performance reporting. Celebrate success and share best practice across the network. Use performance insights to identify capability gaps and targeted development opportunities. About You You'll bring a combination of operational credibility, coaching capability and a genuine passion for developing people. Ideally you'll have: Experience leading training within hospitality, retail or franchising. Excellent facilitation and presentation skills. Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills. Confidence using Microsoft Office and learning management or project management systems. Experience using SafetyCulture (formerly EdApp) or similar LMS platforms is highly desirable. Current unrestricted Australian Driver's Licence. Access to a reliable motor vehicle and willingness to travel regularly across the Burger Urge network, including overnight travel where required.
