Quality Release Coordinator

Position Summary
Opportunity currently exists for a Quality Release Coordinator to join the Quality team based our Wahgunyah Factory, the home of Uncle Toby's Snacks and Cereals.
The Release Coordinator will be responsible for the operation of the systems related to release of products and materials. Ensure that all products and materials (including finished products, raw materials, packaging materials, rework) are released against Nestle's requirements.
A day in the life...
Reporting to the QA Manager, key responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Responsible for the timely release of all batches of Finished Product, Raw Material, Rework and Packaging that are available for release after midday.
- Be the Authorised Person for release of TGA Licenced products.
- Responsible for release of all batches.
- Maintenance of lab equipment to required condition including calibration, verification and management. Ordering of consumables.
- Bulk Raw material Receival management including certificates of analysis and SAP/system release: Eg. Sugar, Wheat flour and Glucose.
- Responsible for the set up and clearance of all morning sensory panels (including packaging and raw materials), re-examination panels and panel results data management.
- Responsible for the 5S of the Sensory Lab and the Retention Storage Cage. Responsible for management of the retention samples.
- Responsible for collection and dispatch of samples to NQAC and external laboratories, and internal testing.
- Responsible for dispatching pathogen monitoring, water and wastewater swabs.
- Support the restricted stock process by ensuring all out of spec stock identified after midday is restricted and placed on the Hold list.
What will make you successful
- Joining a collaborative team of specialists, you will be self-motivated, proactive and have a proven capacity to work effectively within a team environment.
- Diploma or degree qualified in Laboratory, Food Technology, or related field of study.
- Previous experience working in a quality or lab-based role - preferred.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills and a proven capacity to influence and negotiate to drive high standards of performance and quality.
- Passionate about working for Nestle and sharing its purpose.
