What does the job look like?
The Night Shift Operations Manager is responsible for leading warehouse and transport operations to deliver safe, cost-effective and high-performing service outcomes. You will drive operational performance while ensuring safety, compliance and customer expectations are consistently met.

Key areas:

  • Lead day-to-day warehouse and transport operations to deliver service, safety and cost objectives
  • Ensure compliance with safety, legislative and customer requirements across all operations
  • Monitor safety performance and drive risk management, incident reporting and corrective actions
  • Manage team performance to achieve operational targets and key performance indicators
  • Review costs, revenue and margins to drive profitability and continuous improvement
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and customers to support service delivery

Are you the one?
You are an experienced operations leader with a strong background in transport or logistics, capable of leading teams in a fast-paced environment. You bring a commercial mindset and a strong commitment to safety, performance and continuous improvement.

You can demonstrate:

  • Experience in road, rail or transport operations management
  • Ability to lead and develop high-performing operational teams
  • Strong understanding of financial drivers, cost management and performance reporting
  • Knowledge of business management practices within logistics or supply chain environments
  • Proven capability to operate in a fast-paced environment and make effective decisions
  • Current driver licence and relevant qualifications
