NDY Senior Electrical Engineer - Existing Buildings, Sydney
About the Role
We are looking for a talented Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Existing Buildings Sydney team. This team specialises in existing buildings, working across some of Sydney's most iconic commercial, retail and industrial assets. The role offers exposure to a diverse range of technically challenging projects focused on operational, infrastructure and upgrade work within live environments.
We seek a highly motivated engineer to be part of our electrical design solutions and project teams for timely project delivery.
As part of a skilled, technical team you can expect to be exposed to various projects, from smaller investigations to large-scale refurbishment projects. Projects range from major infrastructure upgrades, plant replacements and capacity assessments through to interior fitouts, electrification initiatives, energy optimisation, resilience planning and troubleshooting complex operational issues within existing assets.

About You
- 5 years of professional engineering experience, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the full project lifecycle. This includes initial feasibilities, concept design, detailed design, construction, and project handover.
- Proven ability or willingness to lead projects from concept to delivery
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including written reports
- A degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering
- Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to meet deadlines with attention to detail
- A collaborative and solutions-focused mindset
- A genuine interest in existing buildings, interiors and asset performance
- Experience with other disciplines (electrical, fire, hydraulics) is a plus.
