About the Role:
Working in partnership with the Sales, Production and Finance teams, the Service Manager is responsible for ensuring our customers receive an exceptional level of service, every day.
Leading a large, dedicated Service team of professionals from Coordinators in the office, Account Managers, Transport Manager and Drivers who are on the road, the Service Manager is truly the person that "binds it all together".
Reporting to the Branch General Manager you will be critical to the financial success and growth of our business. This is a busy, and at times hands on role where you can make a significant difference as part of the senior leadership team of the Branch.
We are looking for a person who leads their team by empowering them to make the right decisions for our customers, whilst ensuring that the commercial needs of the business are achieved.
Key Skills and Experience we are looking for: (Pls choose for selection criteria and delete if unnecessary)
- Customer service or logistics management experienced gained in the same or similar role
- People management experience, including leading teams from a diverse range of backgrounds
- Working knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) and / or Logistics systems for measuring and reporting on performance
- The ability to run reports, understand data and make decision based on analysing results
- Intermediate to Advanced level MS Office skills, including Excel
