The Role

We're looking for a permanent full time Customer Service Officer of our Eastwood Retirement Living Village to be the welcoming first point of contact for residents, families, visitors, contractors and staff at the retirement village.

  • Provide professional front-of-house reception and customer service support, responding to enquiries in person, by phone and via email.
  • Support the day-to-day operations of the village through a broad range of administrative tasks, including maintaining records, databases, bookings and resident communications.
  • Assist the Village Manager with newsletters, notices, activity calendars, meetings, events and general site coordination.
  • Support resident engagement by helping coordinate social activities, lifestyle programs and community initiatives.
  • Assist with sales and marketing activities, including responding to new enquiries, providing village information and supporting tours when required.
  • Record and follow up maintenance requests, liaising with residents, contractors and internal teams to ensure issues are addressed.
  • Help coordinate emergency call system administration, including testing, programming and fault reporting.
  • Provide basic finance and billing support, including invoice entry and checking resident statements or recharges.
  • Build positive, respectful relationships with residents and families, contributing to a warm, supportive and connected village community.

About you

  • Previous experience in customer service, administration, reception, aged care, retirement living, community services or a similar front-facing role.
  • A warm, professional and welcoming approach, with the ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, visitors, contractors and staff.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to respond to enquiries clearly, respectfully and in a timely manner.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, follow up tasks and keep accurate records.
  • High attention to detail, particularly when completing administrative tasks, maintaining databases and supporting billing.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel, and the ability to learn new systems.
  • Empathy, patience and discretion when supporting older people, families and community members.
  • Ability to assist with events, resident communications, activity coordination and general village operations.
