Workplace Educator - Residential Aged Care - Central Coast

- Total Remuneration Package (incl super) $130,000 pa + NFP tax benefits + travel reimbursement

We are seeking an experienced Educator and Facilitator to join our Residential Aged Care home in Kincumber (Holy Cross) as a Workplace Educator. While the base will be Kincumber, it is expected you will also work in our home in Hamlyn Terrace and assist the broader Region as required.
Reporting to the Regional Workplace Educator and supported by the HR Learning & Development team, you will work closely with the Residential Manager and operational teams to identify, manage and deliver education, training and compliance requirements across clinical, hospitality, laundry, cleaning and other operational areas.
Your ability to engage stakeholders, understand the business and deliver practical, engaging education will be key to your success.
Your days will include;
• Deliver education and training that supports compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards
• Develop training calendars and plans to maintain compliance
• Coordinate induction and onboarding for new employees
• Conduct training needs analysis and develop learning plans
• Support and mentor staff in a positive learning environment
• Use blended learning and adult learning principles to drive engagement and competency
• Monitor and report on training and onboarding compliance, escalating issues as needed
• Partner with managers, HR and clinical teams to align training with organisational needs
The ideal applicant has a passion for education and training in an operational setting. You will bring strong communication skills, the ability to deliver engaging training and coaching, and excellent organisation skills. You will also have:
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent
• AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse – ideally but not essential
• Experience delivering education and training, ideally in residential aged care
• Strong knowledge of workplace health and safety, Aged Care legislation and Quality Standards
• Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team
• Driver’s licence and vehicle preferred – travel reimbursed
• Willingness to obtain a Police Check and NDISWC
