Your Team

The Quality Assurance & Test team within FirstChoice Technology, is responsible for driving quality and efficient test processes across all projects and technical delivery impacting the systems and IT services provided for the CFS FirstChoice platform and Fund Services businesses.

As a Test Engineering Manager within FirstChoice Technology, you will lead a diverse team of testing professionals to develop and manage effective test strategies and approaches, covering all functional and non-functional test types.


Your Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with tech and delivery teams and business stakeholders to deliver value through effective and efficient test strategies, including automation.
  • Oversee all levels of functional and non-functional testing, including system, system integration and performance testing.
  • Ensure quality test deliverables such as Test Estimates, Test Plans and Completion reports.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and ongoing development for the QA & Test team to foster engagement and cultivate talent.
  • Provide leadership in QA practices and techniques and deliver continuous improvements, with a focus on AI and automation
  • Enhance test automation frameworks and implement testing enhancements for better quality and efficiency.



Your Capability and Experience

  • Exceptional knowledge and experience in test processes.
  • Extensive experience managing a large team of testing professionals.
  • Strong grasp of testing methods and automation techniques.
  • Experience in financial services IT, especially wealth management and superannuation.
  • Excellent people management and leadership abilities.
  • Experience in both functional and non-functional testing.
  • Quality management experience with a focus on innovation and resource optimisation.
  • ISTQB Advanced level certification preferred.
