About the Team
The Program Delivery, Events & Marketing team sits within the College of Sport, Health and Engineering and provides essential administrative support across accreditation processes, program operations, and university events. The team works closely with academic areas, central professional services, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth, studentfocused service delivery.
About the Role
The Administration Officer plays a key role in delivering highquality administrative support across the College. You will contribute to the planning and implementation of College functions, maintain accurate records, support studentfocused processes, and provide timely information to staff and stakeholders. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a busy environment, building strong relationships, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
Position Key Duties
- Liaise with internal teams and stakeholders to gather information and support unit requirements.
- Provide administrative support to the Team Leader, including report preparation and analysis.
- Work closely with program areas and central services to support studentfocused processes.
- Access, update, and maintain accurate information across relevant university systems.
- Process requests in line with VU deadlines, compliance requirements, and quality assurance standards.
- Provide accurate information and referrals to support decisionmaking across the College.
- Identify gaps in processes and contribute to documentation and continuous improvement.
- Prioritise tasks effectively in a busy environment and escalate complex issues when required.

- Classification: HEP 5
- Salary: $79,135 - $90,899 per annum + 17% employer superannuation
- Employment Type: Full Time-Continuing
- Hours per Week: 36.75

About You
You will be someone who thrives in a collaborative, fastpaced administrative environment and brings strong organisational and communication skills. You will also demonstrate:
- Experience in administrative roles, ideally within a tertiary or complex organisational environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proven ability to exercise initiative, judgement, and problemsolving capability.
- High proficiency in MS Office and the ability to quickly learn university systems.
- Ability to prioritise competing tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- Commitment to compliance, quality assurance, and studentfocused service delivery.
