We're looking for an Account Manager to join Burson Melbourne, supporting a diverse portfolio of clients across corporate reputation, public affairs, consumer and integrated communications.

This is a true corpsumer role, with a stronger focus on strategic communications, reputation and stakeholder engagement. Working closely with senior leaders, you'll have the opportunity to shape communications strategies, influence client decision-making and help some of Australia's leading brands and organisations navigate complex communications challenges.

What You'll Do

  • Help develop communications strategies, campaign frameworks and client recommendations that deliver meaningful business outcomes
  • Translate complex business, stakeholder and reputation challenges into clear communications approaches and solutions
  • Use insights, research and data to inform strategic communications planning and campaign development
  • Lead day-to-day client relationships and coordinate integrated communications programs across earned, paid and social channels
  • Develop high-quality content, presentations and communications materials, including thought leadership, media materials and key messages
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen client programs, contribute to business growth and support new business initiatives
  • Mentor and support junior team members, helping them grow and deliver exceptional client work

Experience That Contributes To Success

  • 4+ years' experience in public relations, corporate communications, public affairs or integrated communications, with exposure to corporate, reputation and/or consumer-facing campaigns
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with experience contributing to communications strategies, campaign planning and client recommendations
  • Excellent writing, storytelling and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate insights into impactful communications outcomes
  • Commercially minded, with strong client management capabilities and the ability to identify opportunities for growth and strengthen client relationships
  • Exposure to strategic advisory, data and insights, AI-enabled communications or integrated campaign planning will be highly regarded
