Your New Role
Central FP&A enables Fund leaders to make better decisions through clear financial narratives, disciplined forecasting and actionable insights.
As Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), you will drive strategic financial direction, deliver high-quality performance insight and lead a high-performing team to optimise member outcomes.
This role can be based in either Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane.
Key duties include but are not limited to:
Lead the Fund-wide FP&A agenda, delivering clear, decision-ready performance insights and recommendations to senior management and governance forums.
Lead end-to-end planning and forecasting processes, including multi-year planning and quarterly forecasts.
Lead and develop a high-performing FP&A team of three, building capability in modelling, insight generation and storytelling.
Provide oversight of Fund-wide project financials, including performance, risks and trade-offs.
Deliver forward-looking financial insights to inform prioritisation and strategic decision-making.
Drive improvements in systems, data and processes, including automation and standardisation initiatives.
Partner with Finance Systems teams to uplift FP&A capability and ways of working.
What You'll Need
Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
Professional qualification (CA, CPA, CFA, CIMA, FIAA or equivalent).
Significant and progressive experience in FP&A, finance partnering, financial modelling or related fields.
Strong analytical and modelling capability, with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights.
Commercial mindset with the ability to operate effectively in a complex environment.
Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and challenge constructively.
Advanced Excel capability and working knowledge of financial systems (e.g. Oracle EPM).
Experience within superannuation or financial services (desirable).
