ZI431 - Full-Time Nanny - Sydney, Australia

Overview

A loving family of three moving to Rushcutters Bay, Sydney, is seeking a full-time, live-out nanny to care for their 8-month-old daughter. The role will start late August (around 31st) and the usual schedule will be Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 6:00pm.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, loving, and developmentally appropriate care for an infant

• Act as a trusted partner to the parents on routines, development, and daily observations

• Support age-appropriate developmental activities, including reading and sensory play

• Engage the baby through singing, talking, and interactive play

• Facilitate social interaction and learning through outings, classes, and play dates as the infant grows older

• Handle baby-related laundry and maintain organisation of nursery and supplies.

• Assist with light household support related to the child, including tidying shared spaces.

• Helping around the house during naps, such as emptying the dishwasher, keeping the kitchen tidy, and taking out trash if needed, would be very appreciated

Requirements

• Significant experience caring for infants and toddlers

• Strong understanding of infant development, sleep routines, and schedules

• Calm, grounded demeanor with a warm, engaging presence with children

• The ability to work well with parents, and an excellent communicator

• Legally able to work in Australia
• Excellent and verifiable references

Salary and Benefits

• $35-$40/hr AUD plus super
• 4 weeks' paid annual leave
