Sonic HealthPlus is seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse Team Lead to join our team in the vibrant Pilbara community of Pannawonica, Western Australia. This is a Part time - Fixed Term Contract.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate nursing professional who enjoys combining hands-on clinical care with team leadership, operational oversight, and emergency response. Working within a supportive multidisciplinary environment, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality occupational health and primary healthcare services to the local community and industry.

About the Role

As the Registered Nurse Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the clinic while providing exceptional patient care. You will support and mentor clinic staff, ensure compliance with clinical and operational standards, and work closely with stakeholders to deliver outstanding health outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and supporting clinic employees in daily operations
  • Coordinating rostering, training, and performance support
  • Delivering occupational health assessments and medical screenings
  • Conducting audiometry, spirometry, drug and alcohol testing, ECGs, venepuncture and specimen collection
  • Supporting emergency response requirements and coordinating medical evacuations when required
  • Maintaining clinical governance, quality systems, infection control and cold chain management
  • Managing clinic equipment, maintenance schedules and stock control
  • Building strong relationships with clients, patients and community stakeholders
  • Ensuring accurate reporting, documentation and compliance with company procedures

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

Essential

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Experience in Occupational Health and/or General Practice
  • Strong clinical assessment and emergency response skills
  • Immunisation Certificate
  • Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
  • Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Current National Police Clearance

Highly Desirable

  • Previous supervisory or management experience
  • Rural and remote nursing experience
  • Paediatric Life Support certification
  • PHTLS or TNCC qualification
  • Burns management training
  • WorkCover WA Baseline Audiometry qualification
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
