About the role

This role provides you a unique opportunity to get a 360-degree view of end-to-end financial and accounting services within NSW Health.

Health Manager Level 2 starting salary from $114,251 - $134,809 plus Super, with a 38-hour work week.

What you'll be doing

Turning complex financial data into clear, actionable insights through high-quality reporting and analytics. Help shape a high-performing finance function by improving processes, strengthening controls, and supporting smarter, more efficient ways of working. Partner with key stakeholders to strengthen compliance and elevate financial reporting across the organisation.


About you

We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of NSW Health with:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent and extensive experience in accounting or finance.
  • A proactive and solutions-focused mindset, with the ability to identify improvements and enhance financial processes and controls.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear, meaningful insights for stakeholders.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with a track record of building effective working relationships across teams.
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven experience in financial reporting, month-end processes, and audit support.
