Job Description

The transformation you will experience: We are hiring for an SEO Account Manager to support our growing team. The successful candidate will work closely with the SEO Director in delivering effective and holistic SEO campaigns that exceed client objectives. They'll go beyond client briefs & push the boundaries of the SEO offering, managing the execution and delivery of SEO work and continuously developing their own expertise and digital knowledge. As the SEO Account Manager, you will understand how digital experiences can impact both acquisition and conversion, as well as being driven by a continual test and learn approach to your work. You will understand the value of running an efficient and scalable SEO programme and help the wider team build processes and solutions to effectively meet the needs of a growing department. You will work closely with the SEO Director in developing the SEO offering and ensuring that all work coming out of the SEO team is of the highest quality. As well as this, you'll be responsible for nurturing and developing our relationship with key client stakeholders. There is a tremendous opportunity for growth in this role. You'll have a major impact on our direction and strategy, as well as being exposed to business operations and decisions which will advance your knowledge and capabilities fast.

Your scope will include:

Support the development and execution of high-performing SEO content strategies by conducting keyword research, content gap analysis and competitor reviews. Partner with internal teams to ideate, plan and produce engaging, search-optimised content that drives organic visibility, attracts qualified audiences and supports broader business objectives. Deliver data driven technical and content recommendations to improve website performance, user experience and search engine rankings. Conducting site audits, identifying optimisation opportunities, improving site architecture, metadata, internal linking and supporting best practice SEO implementation. Conduct comprehensive off site SEO audits and provide strategic recommendations to strengthen website authority and online visibility. Support backlink analysis, digital PR opportunities and other initiatives designed to improve domain authority and enhance organic search performance. Leverage data, analytics platforms and SEO tools to identify opportunities. Uncover performance trends and inform strategic recommendations. Translate complex data into actionable insights through regular reporting, keyword analysis and performance reviews that demonstrate business impact. Build strong relationships with clients by developing a deep understanding of their business, industry and objectives. Act as a trusted advisor, proactively communicating recommendations, managing expectations and delivering exceptional service to drive client satisfaction and long term partnerships. Support the growth of a holistic search offering by collaborating across SEO and Paid Search teams. Identify opportunities where organic and paid strategies can work together to maximise performance, share insights across channels and deliver integrated solutions that drive measurable results. Stay abreast of the latest SEO trends, search engine updates and emerging digital marketing best practices. Contribute innovative ideas and recommendations that help clients remain competitive in an evolving search landscape. What type of person will be successful in this role: Experience in an SEO role, ideally agency side. Strong grasp of Microsoft Office programmes, especially PPT and Excel. Experience of working within a fast-paced agency environment with high-value clients. An excellent communicator. Confident, comfortable, and professional when communicating with clients and third parties A solid understanding of how to measure impact of SEO-based strategies through analytics platforms and other external metrics A good understanding of how websites and search engines work. Able to demonstrate an (intermediate) understanding of how web languages like HTML work. Strong knowledge of how to identify organic search opportunity, set business relevant KPIs & project organic search performance.
