Job Description: ANZ Principal Solution Architect / Enterprise Architect
Role Overview
Virtusa is seeking a high-caliber, hands-on Principal Solution Architect to bridge the gap between complex technology ecosystems and strategic business outcomes. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to senior business and technology stakeholders across diverse client industries.
You will be responsible for defining forward-looking tech strategies, modernizations, and roadmaps while remaining deeply hands-on with architecture design. Crucially, you will leverage your broad industry knowledge to understand client pain points, identify areas of interest, and proactively pitch and position Virtusa's comprehensive service offerings to drive business growth.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Tech Strategy & Client Advisory
Strategic Consulting: Partner with C-level and senior stakeholders to abstract complex business problems and translate them into actionable technology strategies and multi-year roadmaps.
Workshops & Discovery: Lead client workshops to evaluate existing legacy systems, assess vendor products, and define modernization strategies (Rearchitect, Replatform, Rehost, etc.).
Thought Leadership: Bring deep domain insights to evaluate, benchmark, and propose emerging technologies suited for complex business solutions.
Portfolio Growth & Pre-Sales Pitching
Virtusa Positioning: Proactively identify client needs and map them to Virtusa service offerings, effectively pitching solutions that drive business development and account growth.
Technology Comparisons: Conduct objective tools/technology trade-off analyses (ROI, speed to market, capability) to back up commercial and technical pitches.
