What you'll be doing
As an Enrolled Nurse within Mental Health Services, you will provide direct nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse while supporting patients through their recovery and wellbeing journey. You will play a key role in delivering safe, compassionate and evidence-based care within your scope of practice.

  • Conduct observations, recognise clinical changes and escalate concerns appropriately

  • Deliver care and support daily living activities in line with individual care plans

  • Communicate effectively with patients, families and multidisciplinary teams

  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to quality improvement

  • Support a positive team environment while upholding professional and ethical standards

Essential Criteria:

Registration: Current Endorsed Enrolled Nurse Division 2 Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Checks: Working With Children Check and National Police Check

Selection Criteria:

  1. Relevant and recent clinical experience deemed appropriate by WSLHD

  2. Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work.

  3. Demonstrated effective communication skills both written and verbal

  4. Effective interpersonal skills showing initiative and leadership.

  5. Ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team

  6. Commitment to continuing professional development and demonstrated ability to utilise information technology within a variety of applications and willingness to undertake training.
