About the Role
SEE Civil have an opportunity available for an experienced Heavy Equipment Float Driver to join our team. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of oversized and heavy equipment using specialised trailers or float trucks. The role involves loading, securing, and unloading equipment while adhering to safety regulations and transportation laws.
Essential Skills and Attributes
You will enjoy practical and manual work and be able to follow instructions and work to a timeline without supervision. You will be physically fit with good eyesight to undertake the inherent requirements of the job. Effective communication skills are required.
You will have:
- Demonstrated experience in the construction industry
- Current MC Drivers Licence
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for heavy equipment transport.
- Proven experience in operating heavy haul trucks and transporting oversized loads.
- Knowledge of state and federal transportation regulations.
- OHS Induction Card
- Any experience or relevant plant tickets will be a bonus to be able to load/unload equipment
