The Team
The team is located at the Cambridge Production Centre working with a team of Cooks and Food Service Officers, preparing and cooking food for Royal Hobart Hospital patients, visitors and clients.
The Role
You will need
- Knowledge or experience in food preparation, food safety, and maintaining hygienic work practices
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team
- A reliable, safety-focused approach with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Details of appointment
Permanent, full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
*Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary
$59,668 to $65,185 per annum + our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2025
