About the Role
We are looking for a commercially minded Operations Finance Analyst to support financial performance across our manufacturing and supply chain operations.
Partnering closely with Operations, Supply Chain and Procurement teams, you will provide critical financial insights that drive performance, efficiency and better decision-making across the business.
This role offers a flexible working location, split between our Helensvale and Yatala sites, with occasional interstate travel to manufacturing facilities.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with Operations and Supply Chain teams to provide actionable financial insights and drive overall performance improvements
- Support decision-making through analysis, modelling and commercial recommendations
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis for operations
- Prepare site-based P&Ls and performance reporting with meaningful insights
- Monitor and analyse key KPIs (cost per unit, yield, labour, waste and efficiency)
- Analyse manufacturing and supply chain costs to identify cost saving opportunities, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support detailed product costing, inventory accuracy and cost control processes
- Deliver clear reporting, dashboards and insights to stakeholders to support decision making and drive operational performance
- Contribute to system improvements, reporting enhancements and implementation initiatives across finance and operations
What You’ll Bring
- Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting or Business
- CPA/CA qualified or working towards
- Experience in a finance analyst or similar role (FMCG, manufacturing, supply chain, industrial or building/construction environments highly regarded)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide insights
- Proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the business
- Advance Excel, financial modelling skills and Power BI capability (or similar BI/reporting tools)
- Experience with large scale ERP systems with exposure to system implementation/transformation highly regarded
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
