Production Support Officer
Introduction
We are seeking a Production Support Officer to join for the Fabrication and Assembly East Region of Metso. We are flexible on employment arrangements and encourage applications from candidates interested in either full-time or part-time opportunities.
Team you belong to
The suitable candidate will be a pivotal part of the Production Support Team in ensuring targets are met.
This permanent position reports to the Production Support Manager. Located in the beautiful Esperance. A highly autonomous role perfect for a self-starter who excels at prioritizing tasks and solving problems independently.
What you'll do
Some of the key components of this role include but are not limited to:
Processing purchase orders, negotiate vendor pricing in line with supply chain estimates and collecting vendor quality paperwork.
Proactively monitoring outstanding supply items.
Answering expediting requisitions to internal stakeholders.
Following up on outstanding vendor invoices and ensure receipting is carried out.
Processing time sheet data.
Identifying health and safety risk observations and reporting.
General branch administration and reception duties.
Ongoing support to the Production Team.
Who you are
Experience with SAP is highly regarded
Highly developed computer skills (Microsoft Suite).
A high level of attention to detail with strong multi-tasking abilities.
The ability to prioritise and time manage your work.
Administration , inventory and purchasing experience, preferably within the mining supply sector.
Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
Experience in a variety of administration/reception tasks.
Experience in supply to the mining industry or similar.
Highly Self-motivated with a can-do attitude.
