Marketing Data Specialist
The Role
Monks is looking for an experienced Marketing Data Specialist with enterprise-level client facing experience in analytics consulting and the deployment of marketing and e-commerce projects. This experience should specifically include helping clients to develop data strategies, complex measurement projects, and experience driving value with expert knowledge and client relationship skills.
You will be responsible for data & analytics initiatives relevant to marketing and audience data consulting, which includes managing relationships with a number of enterprise clients, building out their analytics frameworks, deployment of the required tools, developing insights through reporting and and understanding of needs-based recommendations and optimisations in both technology and data.
The ideal candidate has a history of working with Google Data Products (GTM, GA4 and BigQuery), Adobe Experience Cloud (Analytics, Launch, AEP) or Amplitude to help a variety of businesses, overseeing or directly having a hand in the implementation of their data collection, as well as finding ways to utilise this data to drive value for their clients through reporting and analysis. An understanding of the CRM & CDP landscape is a welcome addition.

Responsibilities Will Include
- Provide subject matter expertise in Data Analytics Platforms and Data Collection to your clients via overseeing the tagging and analytics framework, and a variety of analysis and insight initiatives.
- Develop analytics and data strategies for some of the largest brands in the world with a focus on measurably lifting their business.
- Share your data and marketing analytics expertise with your clients and the Monks team; acting as a thought leader for your client through consultative discovery and recommendations, and be an active participant in the knowledge growth of the Monks team.
- Manage the relationship and projects for enterprise clients from a delivery perspective
- Assist clients in understanding the importance of measurement, and provide best practice guidelines for their general data strategy, as well as specific technical implementations.
- Assist the data team in propelling our practice forward with new go to market initiatives and solutions.
- Client Onboarding: Perform digital audits for prospective clients and existing clients, recording findings and making recommendations across digital properties and data reporting environments.
- Data Management & Reporting: Manage Data Reporting Platforms (Analytics) and Aggregation tools (e.g. BigQuery)
- Conceptualising and building POC-level AI based tools: Analysis & Insights, Conversational & NLP, MCPs and the ability to connect these as agents.
Required Skills & Experience
- You have deep knowledge and experience using mainstream Digital Analytics platforms.
- You have a deep knowledge and understanding of the current state of the data, adtech, and martech industries.
- You have experience managing strategic projects and/or clients.
- You are self-directed, resourceful, and a critical thinker with attention-to-detail and problem-solving skills.
- You are someone who loves to collaborate within cross-functional teams.
- You have experience implementing, and utilizing the data from a variety of digital analytics tools and cloud platforms;
- You have experience with BI/Data analysis tools (Looker Studio, Tableau, etc.).
- Familiarity with cloud data (GCP / BigQuery, AWS, Snowflake, etc.) and how to leverage it in conjunction with marketing analytics data is a big plus in consideration.
