About Us
Bayridge Animal Hospital has been proudly serving the Kingston community for over 30 years. We are a multi-DVM, full-service companion animal hospital dedicated to delivering high-quality, compassionate care for dogs and cats. Our team currently includes 7 experienced veterinarians and 12+ dedicated support staff, creating a stable, collaborative, and team-oriented environment where knowledge sharing is part of everyday practice. We take a team-based medicine approach, where case discussion and collaboration are encouraged and supported.

Our modern, well-equipped hospital offers a wide range of advanced services, including:
- Comprehensive dental suite providing full oral health care
- On-site laboratory with extensive diagnostic testing capabilities
- Digital radiography and ultrasound with remote specialist consultation capabilities
- Fully equipped surgical suite supporting:
- Routine surgeries
- Soft tissue procedures
- Orthopedic surgeries
- Oncological procedures
- We also utilize Covet AI for medical note-taking, helping streamline workflows and enhance efficiency in patient documentation.
The Opportunity
- Full-time role: 4 days per week
- No weekends
- No on-call or emergency after-hours requirements
- Flexible structure still supporting strong work-life balance, ideal for:
- DVMs seeking consistent full-time hours without burnout
- Practitioners looking for stability within a collaborative team
- Those wanting structured clinical days with meaningful team engagement
You will work alongside 3-4 veterinarians daily, providing ample opportunity for case discussion, shared learning, and team support.
What We're Looking For
- Licensed (or eligible for full licensure) DVM in Ontario
- Strong communicator who values collaborative, team-based care
- Interest in general practice with exposure to a wide range of surgical and medical cases
- Passion for providing excellent patient and client care
